So what is the cost of building a new house??? Besides money, there are many other things that suffer. I work on the house from the time I drop the kids off at school until dinner, every day. Here is a list of what me and my family have gone through lately.
1. I don't always get a bath in every day.
2. This is what Mandy told me the other day, and I quote "you took a bath!!! I didn't even know you were here because I couldn't smell you"
3. My kids haven't worn matching socks in like a month.
4. My car hasn't been cleaned out or washed in like two months.
5. I went to fix my hair the other day and I couldn't remember which side I part it on.
6. I look like I have dandruff, because I have so much paint in my hair.
7. I can't remember how to cook.
8. My poor kids never know from day to day who will pick them up from school, or if they will get picked up from school JK
9. Mike can rarely find socks or underwear
10. I have gained 10 pounds, seriously, because I will eat whatever anyone brings me.
11. My friends are embarassed to go anywhere with me (Tiffany and Mandy)
Anyways, the house will be done in a couple of days, praise the good lord, and I will post some pics then.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRADELLA!!!!!! (YESTERDAY)
Mandy turned 30 yesterday!!!!! If anyone has any pics of Mandy when we were all younger, please post them (mine are all packed). I just want to tell Mandy how much I love her and what an amazing friend she is. God definately puts certain people in your life to help you, and she is a godsend to me. I couldn't love her more if she was my own sister. I hope you had a great birthday and I hope you are always as happy as you make those around you. Love you
Everyone please post a funny memory of Mandy on your own blogs
I have so many funny memories of Mandy but this one was hysterical. Mandy was going out with Brett Taylor and we were on our way home from a softball tournament and we were eating in Globe and Brett's dad came to the restaraunt and he was going to meet Mandy and she comes walking out of the bathroom with a long peice of toliet paper stuck to her shoe. Freakin hilarious.

Josey
Drew has a little girl in her class named Josey that was burned in a bad house fire a few weeks ago. She was burned over 80% of her body. Josey passed away this morning. I hope everyone can pray for her family. It breaks my heart, and everyone will miss this sweet little girl, but I am so comforted to know that this sweet spirit is with our Savior. We love you Josey, and we will miss you.Posted by Angie Colwell at 4:36 PM 2 comments

The Movie
So on Monday I finally got to0 see the movie. I Loved It!!!! At first I didn't really think I was going to like it, or the boy who plays Edward, but the movie gets better as it goes and I fell in love with Him and Kristen Stewart. I would have stayed and watched the late show too if I hadn't had anyone with me. I definately don't think someone would like it who hadn't read the book. Can't wait for the next movie......................

Mike's Buck
Mike and I went hunting on the Kaibab last week. We had so much fun. Him and Cory both got tags but I didn't so I was the driver. Anyways, Mike killed this buck right off the side of the road and he spine shot it so we didn't have to track it, which is good because it snowed and it was freezing so we just backed up the truck and threw it in. It was a great hunt. It had to have been one of my favorite vacations.
Drew wanted to be in the picture but there was no way she was touching it.
This was the day after we got home. I was sooo tired. We are going this weekend back to the kaibab for Braydon's doe hunt. It should be interesting.Posted by Angie Colwell at 9:46 AM 7 comments

Braydon Stories.......
I just thought of this story the other day and even though it happened forever ago I thought everyone would get a kick out of it. Ever since Braydon could talk he says the funniest things, and he isn't trying to be funny but he kills me. Here is a conversation I had with Braydon when he was 6 or 7 years old. My dad was listening to "learning spanish" cd's and so Brayd was very interested in spanish and this convo took place while they were passing the sacrament one Sunday.
Braydon: (whispering) "Mom, how do you say Heavenly Father in spanish"
Me: "I dunno. Braydon be quiet"
Braydon:"I dunno?" He says in a spanish accent, "That sounds kind of like I don't know in English"
I had to get up and walk out to the lobby so I didn't pee my pants during church
Another story
Ever since my boys were little they have called there privates, peanuts and this was during Kinnly's prayer last night
.................."and thank you for my peanut"...........................
he was dead serious and when we all started laughing he didn't get what was so funny. I am sure he just said what most men would love to thank the lord for, it is just too innappropriate for an adult to pray.

Faith's wedding
Here are some pics of Faith's wedding. She looked so beautiful and she is sooooo tiny already.
The reception was at Molly Butlers in Greer, and this is where Mike spent most of it. There was a football game on.
"I loved her First" Dance
Drew and Kevin's neice were the flower girls. Here is one of their many dances.Posted by Angie Colwell at 4:02 PM 7 comments
Tired Babies
We went to the valley a few weeks ago and Braydon had a football game and Drew cheered and needless to say, they were completely worn out. I took them to dinner with Tiffany and her kids and we got back to where we were staying about 10. I got Drew and Kinnly out of the car and went around to get Braydon and when I came back this is what I found.
I ran back to the car to get the camera and came back and they were all three asleep in the drive way. It looks like a crime scene.Posted by Angie Colwell at 12:09 PM 4 comments

Catch up
Hi Everyone!!!!! The computer has been down. I hope everyone is doing well. Here is what I have been up to.
1. Kinnly broke his leg and was in a cast for five weeks. He fell off of the teeter totter. Trying to keep him off his leg was impossible so they put him in a walking cast and it didn't even slow him down a little bit.
2. The house is coming along. We are hopefully about 3 weeks from moving in. So much still to do. I work up there every day, mostly painting (so tired of paint)
3. Braydon is playing football, Drew is cheering and dancing, and Kinnly is playing soccer.
4. Faith got married last Saturday. The wedding was beautiful and so was she.
I will post pictures of everything as soon as I download them

I am: A mom and Wife
I think:way too much about things. I over analyze.
I Know: That the most important things in life aren't things
I want: to go on vacation to Fiji
I have: No time for myself most days. That's ok
I wish: That I could travel back and redo the mistakes I have made
I hate: When my husband is out of town.
I Miss: My kids being small and wanting me to hold them all the time.
I fear: losing someone I love
I feel: happy about how blessed I am
I hear: Hairspray the movie
I smell: Bacon
I crave: Sweets, sushi, and kissing
I search: for good buys on everything
I wonder: How old I will live to be
I regret: Not going to college
I love: my sweet little girl. She is so much fun
I care: about my friends sooo much
I always: tell my family I love them every day
I am not: patient,
I believe: That some day all the pain of this world will be gone
I dance: more than I should. Me and Drew make up dances in the car when we are traveling
I sing: everything. It's not pretty.
I don't always: Tell my friends and family how much I am grateful for them.
I fight: a huge battle in myself.
I write: letters to Mike all the time.
I lose: my temper a lot.
I never: Thought I could love someone like I do Mike
I listen: to old country by myself and sing at the top of my lungs
I can usually be found: working on my house
I am scared:of snakes, deathly afraid of them.
I need: at least 20 minutes a day to sit in the bathtub and soak
I am happy about: The life I have, the family I have, and all of my many blessings.

Memories
I saw this on Linde's blog and I thought it would be fun to try.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

It's the most wonderful time of the year............
Like everyone else who grew up here, I love the 4th. It is the only time I get to see everyone. Here is a pic of Jordynn and Drew and the breakfast my parents have every year.
Drew and Ellery, the poor baby was passed around so much.
Kinnly finally smiled.
The parade was so cool this year. I love the hellicopters that flew over the parade. Posted by Angie Colwell at 8:54 PM 11 comments

Ellery Lynn Walker "Ell"
Here she is!!! She was born last night about 10:00. Faith did great, she only pushed twice and she was done. She has lots of black hair and she is beautiful.
Oh look, she likes me.
Drew was sitting right outside the delivery room when the baby was born. She came in shortly after. It has brought up some really interesting question. We are so glad Ell is finally here. Her mommy and daddy are so proud of her and she will be just as spoiled as the rest of the kids in our family.Posted by Angie Colwell at 7:03 PM 7 comments

Wrestling
Drew set this all up outside so we could watch her and Kinnly wrestle. She used to be able to take him pretty easy but it is getting a little harder for her lately and she isn't happy about it.
He wasn't quite trying yet
Peyton jumped in and Jordynn wanted in on the action but she was too scared to wrestle so she hit them with a golf set.
He finally gets on top. As soon as he starts winning Drew is done.Posted by Angie Colwell at 11:12 AM 2 comments
Mosquito Bites
We went up to haws park for family home evening and Kinnly got some mosquito bites on his head. Immediately they swelled up so I could tell that he was allergic to them. By the time he went to bed he wasn't feeling very well and I could tell that his head hurt. When he woke up the next morning this is what his head looked like. I took him to the dr. and he had had a allergic reaction to them and then one of them got infected in the tissue of his head. On top of this bump the infection moved down his neck and into his lymphnodes in his neck. He was a mess. They put him on strong antibiotics and antihistamines and he was a fine a couple of days later.
One of the mosquitos bit his ankle and it was swolen for awhile to. We live in the wrong place to be allergic to Mosquitos.Posted by Angie Colwell at 11:03 AM 2 comments

The house!!!
The house is coming a long really fast. We are excited. Can't wait for it to be done. Here is the front view.
Back View
Hopefully we will be in my the end of August. This house started out at 1700 sq. Feet. There were some option bonus rooms over the garage. We were going to finish them later. Everyone talked us into finishing the upstairs because it's cheaper to do it all at once. So then we were at 2250 sq. feet. Then, our framer told us about all the space we were waisting upstairs with the trusses we were using so we changed those and now we are at 2900 sq. feet. So now we had all this room upstairs so we moved our Master bedroom upstairs and now we have a huge suite upstairs but it means that Drew gets our old Bedroom downstairs so she has a big bedroom and bathroom to herself with a huge closet. The good news is the house is framed now so it can't get any bigger.

St. Louis
Mike and I went to St. Louis last week for 5days. He had Drug Court Conference and so I tagged along and it was so relaxing being without the kids. Here is a picture of the Gateway Arch park. it was beautiful.
Here is the view from the top of the arch (stupidest thing I have ever done, i am not afraid of heights but this was just stupid)
We went to a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium. We had great seats and the stadium is so cool. Every time we go out of town this time of year we have to see a game.

Here is a video of Kinnly riding a sheep at the jr rodeo a couple of weeks ago. So Funny. I love the serious look on his face. He didn't cry until Mike picked him up. As you can see he hits pretty hard.

I'm dreaming of a white.................Memorial Day????
That's right, it snowed last night, alot. This is what we woke up to this morning. It almost hit 90 degrees here only four days ago. I really can't believe this. The last time it snowed this late in the year was 1997 and it didn't stick.
All of my snow clothes are packed. I am going to wear shorts and flip flops in protest of the snow.Posted by Angie Colwell at 6:47 AM 7 comments

Branding
It's that time of year again. We went to the ranch to help brand for the last couple of days. The kids had a blast. Braydon is getting old enough to really be some help. Drew didn't really like the look or smell of the cows so she just steered clear.
Here is a pic of Braydon before the branding and before he had been kicked by cows.
Here is him after the first kick he got (he kicked the cow back)
Here is him after the second kick. We had to pick ourselves up off the ground we were laughing so hard. I don't have any pics of the third kick, but there was one full grown cow that didn't get cut out of the calves and it kicked Braydon into the fence. it kicked him in the ribs but he will be fine.
Kinnly was so tired he almost fell asleep on his horse.Posted by Angie Colwell at 7:13 AM 7 comments

Twiligth Movie...... again
So by now everyone knows how much I love the Twilight books and how I am obsessed with the movie. My mom and Dad flew to Oregon yesterday and when she got there she called me and said that the movie is being filmed in the town I lived in My junior year. The dance room scene, where James tries to kill Bella, was filmed at the highschool I went to!!!! Had I known I would have gone with my mom and Dad and stalked the Actors and Actresses.

Pledge
I got this email and I thought it was really cool
WRITTEN BY A 15 yr. old SCHOOL KID IN ARIZONA : New Pledge of Allegiance (TOTALLY AWESOME)! Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer are not allowed in most public schools anymore Because the word 'God' is mentioned.... A kid in Arizona wrote the attached: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ NEW School prayer : Now I sit me down in school Where praying is against the rule For this great nation under God Finds mention of Him very odd. If Scripture now the class recites, It violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow Becomes a Federal matter now. Our hair can be purple, orange or green, That's no offense; it's a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice. For praying in a public hall Might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the state. We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks, And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible. To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King. It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong, We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong. We can get our condoms and birth controls, Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the Ten Commandments are not allowed, No word of God must reach this crowd. It's scary here I must confess, When chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord, this silent plea I make: Should I be shot; My soul please take! AmenIf you aren't ashamed to do this, please pass this on. Jesus said, 'If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.'

Finally!!!!
We Finally started our house today. We have been trying to get things going since the end of January. FYI, it is a lot more involved getting a home loan then it was a couple of years ago. Mortgage companies have lost so much money lately they said that out of 300 people who got home loans two years ago, only 12 would qualify today. Anyways, here we are. I am so excited.
This will be the view from the front of our house. I'm glad we have such a great view because we have 900 square feet of deck so i am sure we will be spending a lot of time out there. I will keep everyone updated (not that anyone cares as much as I do). hahaPosted by Angie Colwell at 8:22 PM 6 comments
